Best Dividend Paying Stock List As Of May 2013 – 26 Most Impressive Dividend Growth Stocks

Best Dividend Paying Stock Lists By Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. On the first day of each month, I create a quick dividend list (from low-yield to high-yield paying stocks) of stocks with interesting performance and valuation figures. Stocks from that list are mid- and large caps (market capitalization of more than USD 1 billion) with double-digit long-term earnings growth rates. The companies are traded at AMEX, NYSE, NASDAQ and part of the Dow Jones, S&P 500 or Nasdaq Composite. The list is selected by the following criteria and sorted by dividend yield.

Market Capitalization: > 1 Billion
Price/Earnings Ratio: > 0 < 100
Dividend Yield: > 3 < 20
Return on Investment: > 10 < 100
Operating Margin: > 10 < 100
10 Year Revenue Growth: > 8 < 200
10 Year EPS Growth: > 10 < 100

The reason behind is to find some attractive valuated companies with a strong market position and pricing power. Some of the results are distorted because they had an extraordinary good economic situation in the past. I’m talking about basic material stocks. Within the recent years, underlying prices for commodities increased very strongly because of China’s hunger for raw material. As a result, earnings as well as margins of mining companies exploded. The second most represented sector from the screen is the technology sector. 26 companies fulfilled the above mentioned criteria; 17 of them are currently recommended to buy.

50 Shares With Fastest Dividend Growth In April 2013

Shares with highest dividend growth researched by Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. Only a growing business is a good business; that’s a major rule in economics. But growth is not all. Investors want a part of the company’s success; they want growing dividends at high rates.

Sometimes, predatory investors and some activists try to steal some of the company’s assets and force a dividend payment which is much higher than the current earnings. Those activities are bad for the stock price.

Good dividend hikes are such ones that are in-line with a healthy growing operational business. They reflect a solid growing business with a trustful management who wants to share the company’s success with the ownership.

It’s easy to discover good and bad dividend growth. All you need is to look at the earnings developments and debt changes.

Today I run my screen of the 50 fastest dividend growers from the recent month. Below the results are again some pretty good stocks with very good growth rates. All stocks have a double-digit growth rate. The average dividend growth of the 50 best stocks amounts to 73.26 percent. The average yield is still at 3.77 percent.

41 Top Yielding Stocks With Ex-Dividend Date In May 2013

Monthly high yielding shares researched by “long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. Yields come down; the decay is full in process because of the growing stock prices. Dividend investors like me are seeking for higher yields at the market but the results getting rare.

My solution is to scout for lower yielding stocks with hope that the next dividend hike could lift the current yield above the 3 percent level. But it’s more work to predict dividends and your risk increases when you have missed some details.

I always have a big picture of stocks that go ex-dividend in the near future in order to get quick cash back from my investments. Sure it’s not a trading strategy because after the ex-dividend date, the stock is also traded lower in the amount of the dividend but it is a great information tool.

However, I screen every month some interesting high yielding stocks with ex-dividend date within the next month. As result, I found 41 stocks with an average dividend yield of 4.98 percent. Three stocks have a double-digit yield and ten a high yield. 18 stocks from the results have a buy or better recommendation.
