11 Basic Material Stocks With Low Debt And Dividend Payout Ratios

Basic material dividend stocks with low dividend payout ratios and small debt figures originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. The basic material sector is not popular at the capital market for the time being. Over the past year, shares from the sector are the worst performing assets class on the market.

But what others hate does not mean that you cannot make money with basic material stocks. If you are a long-term investor, you should definitely find some good stocks with a cheap valuation. But be careful, raw materials are also more cyclic than consumer or healthcare companies.

Today I would like to continue my monthly screen about dividend stocks with low debt ratios and little dividend payments. I observe stocks from the basic material sector with a dividend payout ratio of less than 20 percent of earnings as well as a debt to equity ratio under 0.2.

Exactly eleven stocks fulfilled these criteria of which eight are currently recommended to buy. Agrichemicals and specialty chemical companies are the dominating player on the list.

13 Cheap Stocks With Dividend Yields Over 3% And A Predictable Business

Cheaply valuated stocks with a predictable business and yields over 3% originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. It’s important not to overpay a stock. The first rule you need to follow is to pay acceptable prices for a growing business that is somehow calculable. I talk about a business model with nearly stable sales that grow over the long-run.

On my blog, I present often such companies with a low volatile business and good yields. Today I would like to use the gurufocus screener about predictable companies.

The screener gave me the opportunity to look for new, customized stock ideas which I would like to share with you here now. Below is a list of the best yielding cheaply valuated stocks with yields over 3 percent as well as a forward P/E under 15.

Eighteen stocks with a better than 4-Star gurufocus rating fulfilled the above mentioned criteria. Three of the results have a high yield and four are currently recommended to buy or even better.

8 Predictable Dividend Stocks At Multi-Year Price-To-Book Value Lows

Stocks with a predictable business and historical low P/B ratios originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Today I would like to use my new gurufocus screener to get new stock ideas. I always hunt for value but I don’t want to add up too much risk in my portfolio.

For sure, there is no free lunch at the market and everybody must accept a fluctuating stock price. But in my view, there are different ways to take risk. Some are natural and others are not calculable risks, created by the company or the environment in which the corporate acts.

Let’s come back to my value stock screener. I would like to try out the Low P/B Companies screener by gurufocus and I’m glad to share the top yielding results with you here.

The screener supports only stocks that have grown sales and earnings over the past decade consistently. They are somehow predictable and high-quality stocks. The screener compares the current P/B ratios with the 10-Year average values of the ratio and plots the top 25 companies with the lowest spreads.

Only eight stocks of the top 25 results have a yield over 2 percent and three of them got a buy or better rating.
