Next Week's 20 Top Yielding Large Cap Ex-Dividend Shares

The best yielding and biggest ex-dividend stocks researched by ”long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. Dividend Investors should have a quiet overview about stocks with upcoming ex dividend dates.

The ex dividend date is the final date on which the new stock buyer couldn’t receive the next dividend. If you like to receive the dividend, you need to buy the stock before the ex dividend date. I made a little screen of the best yielding stocks with a higher capitalization that have their ex date on the next trading week.

In total, 175 stocks go ex dividend - of which 89 yield more than 3 percent. Here is a full list of all stocks with ex-dividend date within the current week.

Best Dividend Paying Stock List As Of October 2013

Best Dividend Paying Stock Lists By Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. At the beginning of each month, I screen the market with my best dividend paying stock screening criteria which are listed below.

I believe that it makes sense to observe the market by good valuated long-term growth stocks. For sure many of the results are lucky strikes, companies that have had an extraordinary good financial strength and growth due to a fantastic business environment. But the developments are not sustainable.

But sometimes there are new ideas on my list like Herbalife or recently the weapon maker Sturm & Ruger. Those were corporate stocks in special situations.

The best dividend paying stock list is a small compilation with seven tough investing criteria, summarized below. The list includes each month around 20 to 30 results. It’s a quick dividend list (from low-yield to high-yield paying stocks) of stocks with interesting performance and valuation figures. Stocks from that list are mid- and large caps (market capitalization of more than USD 1 billion) with double-digit long-term earnings growth rates. The companies are traded at AMEX, NYSE, NASDAQ and part of the Dow Jones, S&P 500 or Nasdaq Composite. The list is selected by the following criteria and sorted by dividend yield.

My Criteria to find the best dividend stock

Market Capitalization: > 1 Billion
Price/Earnings Ratio: > 0 < 100
Dividend Yield: > 3 < 20
Return on Investment: > 10 < 100
Operating Margin: > 10 < 100
10 Year Revenue Growth: > 8 < 200
10 Year EPS Growth: > 10 < 100

28 companies are part of the best dividend paying stock list for October 2013. The top pick is still Southern Copper, a commodity based stock with a double-digit dividend yield. 8 additional stocks have a dividend yield over 5 percent and fourteen got a buy or better rating by brokerage firms.

13 Safe Haven Large Caps With Over 3% Dividend Yields

Low volatility dividend stocks with cheap price ratios and top yields originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. On my blog I’ve listed over 100 stocks with safe haven characteristics. For sure no stock is safe and no dividend is guaranteed but there are some shares with a higher risk and bigger volatility which I don’t like. I’m looking for low yielding stocks with solid debt ratios and modest growth perspectives with a proven business model and a long-term dividend growth history.

Today, I produced a screen with the following core criteria:

- Market Capitalization over USD 10 billion
- Debt-to-Equity Ratio below 0.5
- Beta Ratio Below one

In order to get the top yielding results with cheap expected P/E’s, I selected only those stocks with a forward P/E of less than 15 as well as a dividend yield of more than 3 percent. Only thirteen stocks fulfilled my safe haven characteristics of which two are High-Yields and seven are recommended to buy. Many telecoms are part of the results.

The sector is definitely low priced and there is a huge rumor about takeovers. I also have shares of AT&Tand Rogersin my Dividend Yield Passive Income Portfolio.

13 High-Yield Large Capitalized Stocks With Buy Recommendation

Stocks with high dividend yields and buy ratings originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Today I would like to give you an update of the higher capitalized stocks with buy ratings by brokerage firms. I personally prefer stocks with lower yields and better growth perspectives because I don’t need high yields to live-off.

Only 13 stocks fulfilled these two criteria but the most of the results have an extraordinary high debt. It’s very risky to buy stocks with large amounts of debt because debt owners got money before share owners. If there should develop some trouble, the dividends must keep flat or needed to reduce.

Stocks from the basic material sector as well as telecoms are the dominating categories. But there are also some good names on the list like Williams Partners or Altria.
