The best performing non dividend paying stock is more an industrial stock than a consumer company. It’s the electric vehicle producer Tesla. The company’s stock price quadrupled since the start of the year. The top dividend payer is the multi-marketing level company Nu Skin Enterprises.

Despite the strong stock price increase, 16 of the top 20 performing sector dividend stocks still have a buy or better rating.
