10 Large Cap Dividend Stocks Close To New 52-Week Highs And A Single P/E Multiple

Cheaply valuated dividend stocks close to new 52-Week-Highs originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. The markets are at all time highs and the valuations is getting more and more expensive, measured by earnings multiples. Not all stocks are highly priced. Out there are still a lot of opportunities with a single P/E multiple.

Today I would like to show you those stocks that are close to new 52-Week-Highs and having a single earnings multiple at the same time. In order to reduce the results, I observed only companies with a market capitalization over USD 10 billion.

Ten stocksfulfilled my criteria of a very low P/E and a stock price up to 3 percent below new highs. All ten have a current buy or better rating.

15 High Yields With The Lowest Dividend Payout Ratios

High Yields with dividend payouts of less than 50 percent and room to boost future dividends originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. If you have only small amounts of money available for investing, you need a higher yield. I do know this problem but I always remember that higher dividend yields are also equally with a higher risk.

Today I would like to screen all higher yielding stocks with a dividend yield over 5 percent and a market capitalization above the 2 billion mark by its payout ratios. I’m hunting for opportunities that pay less than 50 percent of its earnings. I believe that there should be more room for a small dividend hike if earnings are not cyclic and grow over the time.

Fifteen high yielding stocks fulfilled these criteria of which eleven are currently recommended to buy.

100 Most Bought Stocks By Investment Gurus

100 most bought stocks by investment professionals originally published on Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. I love it to see how the big investors act on the market. Some of them have a really interesting and creative investing strategy which works only with huge amounts of capital.

Some hedge funds play with money and try to boost its return by ignoring a good diversification. But if they know the business and management team the risk might be lower as for desk research investors like us.

However, each month I publish a little list about the largest stock buys from 49 super investors. I analyze how often a stock was bought over the recent six months and ranked them in my 100 best guru buy list. All super gurus combined bought 655 stocks within the recent half year.

In my view, it’s a good tool to look at the activities of guru investors in the market because they have big money in their pockets and if they invest combined, they could change the market very easily.

Their attitude to stocks is also lightning the way to return, not always but sometimes because the media notices the portfolio changes of the hedge fund managers and create additional publicity.

Technology is still the place to be for the investment guru’s. I think that they have noticed the huge cash reserves of Apple and the other stocks. Not enough, most of them are very profitable and grow further despite they don’t have new technologies developed.

13 High-Yield Large Capitalized Stocks With Buy Recommendation

Stocks with high dividend yields and buy ratings originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Today I would like to give you an update of the higher capitalized stocks with buy ratings by brokerage firms. I personally prefer stocks with lower yields and better growth perspectives because I don’t need high yields to live-off.

Only 13 stocks fulfilled these two criteria but the most of the results have an extraordinary high debt. It’s very risky to buy stocks with large amounts of debt because debt owners got money before share owners. If there should develop some trouble, the dividends must keep flat or needed to reduce.

Stocks from the basic material sector as well as telecoms are the dominating categories. But there are also some good names on the list like Williams Partners or Altria.

15 High Yielding Stocks Close To New 52-Week Highs

High Yield Large Caps quite below new 52-Week Highs originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. I’m not a momentum trader who seeks the hottest investment opportunities over the short run. I am looking for high quality dividend paying stocks that hike cash payments to shareholders each year and plan to continue this for decades. For sure, there are not many corporate that can manage this need. Only 15 stocks or so have achieved to rise dividends year over year for more than 50 years.

I also look at stocks at new highs. I believe that it’s a good sign when the stock is near all time highs or close to new 52-Week Highs. Something must run well right and investors gift trust to the corporate. You should definitely care about a solid valuation and avoid it to buy stocks with higher P/E’s.

Today I would like to present you some higher capitalized High Yields that are a few percentage points below new 52-Week Highs. It should be possible that these stocks can hit new highs in the near future.

Only fifteen stocks with more than USD 2 billion market capitalization are traded close to new highs and twelve of them got a current buy or better rating by investment firms. Two companies have a double-digit dividend yield.

100 Most Bought Stocks By Investment Gurus

100 most bought stocks by investment professionals originally published on Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. Big investors are sometimes better informed about the issues of a company. They know where to find low hanging fruits and to make profits. It could make sense for us normal investors to observe the activities from the big investors in order to get a feeling about the good and bad companies, stocks that investors love and hate.

Each month, I develop a little screen about the largest stock buys from 49 super investors. I analyze how often a stock was bought over the recent six months and ranked them in my 100 best guru buy list. All super gurus combined bought 631 stocks within the recent half year; they seem to be more bullish.

In my view, it’s a good tool to look at the activities of the guru investors in the market because they have huge amounts of capital and if they invest combined, they can change the market very easy. Their attitude to stocks is also lightning the way to return, not always but sometimes because the media notices the portfolio changes of the hedge fund managers and create additional publicity.

Technology is still the place to be for the investment guru’s. The top three results from the guru 100 best buy list are all tech stocks: Oracle, Apple and Microsoft.

…and investors bet more on dividends: Now, 80 percent of the equities they bought pay a dividend. But most of them are low yielding stocks, around 11 stocks yielding over 3 percent. Investment guru’s still look for growth and don’t seek for high cash compensation.

16 High Yielding Dividend Stocks With Singe P/E Ratios

High yielding Mid- and Large capitalized dividend stocks with cheap price ratios originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. I often write about stocks with cheap fundamentals, mostly about those with a low forward P/E. I believe that this is a great first step to find good bargains at the stock market.

But you need also a good initial dividend yield if you like to build a passive dividend income to live off.

Today I would like to create a screen which combines both, yield and cheapness at a very high level.

I’m looking for High-Yield dividend stocks with single-digit P/E ratios. In order to limit my screening results, I observed only higher capitalized companies with a market capitalization over USD 2 billion.

Sixteen stocks fulfilled my criteria. Seven of them have a current buy or better rating and fifteen yielding over 10 percent!

REITs, asset managers and communication stocks are dominating the screen. That’s where you can find the highest dividend yields but the risk is also much higher.

Cheapest Dividend Paying Large Caps As of August 2013

Cheap large capitalized stocks with high growth originally published at “long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Dividend stocks with great looking fundamentals and cheap price ratios can promise you a good return but they are also very rare and hard to find in my view. The higher your efforts of your screen are, the lower the number of results you get.

Today I would like to update my monthly screen about the cheapest dividend paying stocks on the capital market. I use six very strong criteria and only around a dozen companies remain each month.

My criteria for the cheap large cap screen are:
- Market Capitalization over USD 10 billion
- Expected Earnings per share growth over 10 percent for the next year.
- P/E ratio under 15
- P/S and P/B ratio under 2
- Positive Dividends

Twelve companies fulfilled the above mentioned criteria and ten of them have a current buy or better rating. One stock has a high yield (5 percent dividend yield or more). To buy cheap stocks is no guarantee for a return but you get value for what you pay and the possibility to overpay a stock is also low if the business model is stable.

His assets under management exceeded the 55 billion mark in his investment firm Barrow, Hanley, Mewhinney & Strauss. This money was spread on 159 stocks of which 7 were completely new. James follows a value-oriented investment strategy.

James is a real dividend large cap lover. Nearly all of his latest 20 big stock acquisitions pay dividends. In addition, James is a much diversified guy. None of his stakes is extremely overweighed. The biggest position is the tobacco company Philip Morris and has a portfolio share of 3.5 percent while the 10th biggest stock holding weights only at 1.8 percent.

100 most bought stocks by investment professionals originally published on Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. Super investors are such with billions in assets under management. Cheapest Dividend Paying Large Caps As of June 2013

Cheap large capitalized stocks with high growth originally published at “long-term-investments.blogspot.com. It's always good to own cheap stocks in order to gain a return.

For sure, cheapness is a question of definition and in the end its growth that makes a stock cheap or expensive.

I make each month a screen about the cheapest large capitalized dividend stocks. Below are screening criteria; they are very sternly in my view. I use this screen to find some attractive bargains. In a hot market it's ever hard to find low valuated stocks with great earnings growth perspectives. Especially within the recent months, the number of results decreased rapidly. Let’s look if the recent crisis 5/21 had some positive effects for the screen.

My criteria for the cheap large cap screen are:
- Market Capitalization over USD 10 billion
- Expected Earnings per share growth over 10 percent for the next year.
- P/E ratio under 15
- P/S and P/B ratio under 2
- Positive Dividends

Thirteen companiesfulfilled these criteria. It’s exactly one stock less than last month. Two High-Yields are below the results and eight stocks have a current buy or better rating.

Cheapest Dividend Paying Large Caps As of May 2013

Cheap large capitalized stocks with high growth originally published at “long-term-investments.blogspot.com. The markets getting more expensive and my research for real bargains or cheap valuated stocks rise. Today I like to use my monthly screen of the cheapest large capitalized stocks.

Buy low and sell high is the basic philosophy behind. But its very difficult to know when stocks are cheap. In markets that are going up for years, the only reason to find cheap stocks is to look at the future growth. A growing company let the P/E ratio shrink. A current P/E of 20 can come down to 13 with growing earnings per share. Growth is only one criterion of hundreds.

My criteria for the cheap Large Cap screen are:

- Market Capitalization over USD 10 billion
- Expected Earnings per share growth over 10 percent for the next year.
- P/E ratio under 15
- P/S and P/B ratio under 2
- Positive Dividends

Fourteen companiesfulfilled these criteria of which nine are currently recommended to buy. The screen is dominated by foreign stock; eight come from abroad. Another characteristic is that basic material stocks are mostly represented. The fear of falling commodity prices due to Chinas slowing growth is the reason behind.

The Cheapest Basic Material Dividend Stocks | 20 Low Priced Raw Material Shares

Basic material dividend stocks with low forward P/E’s originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". Yesterday I read an interesting article about the valuation of the market. We got a gaining momentum. This year alone, the market rose around 15 percent and nobody scares this. The analysts from Bloomberg attempted to compare the situation with the second half of the 90ies where stocks started to boost until they burst. Historically we named this burst the technology bubble 2000.

The analyst wrote that the current valuation is still 28 below the mid 90ies. The market is not cheap but not expensive. Other investors talk about a reasonable pricing. They trust the market environment and the FED stimulus and they pay finally the high price.

I’m a long-term growth investor and I’ve also realized that most of the high-quality stocks are too expensive to get a good return. With P/E’s of 20 you will definitely make no greater return. Sure, it could be possible that your investment got a 30 P/E in five years or so but that’s not investing, it’s speculation.

As you might have seen, I started more screens with cheap price ratios as variables. I still try to seek the cheapest opportunities from the market, but there are only a dozen from each sector. Today I like to discover some ideas from the basic material sector. I’m focused on large caps in my screen.

Basic material stocks are still very cheap. The 20 stocks with lowest valuation can be purchased for a multiple between 4 and 9 of expected earnings. That’s very low compared to my other screens. But you should also know that valuation is a question of belief – Do you trust the earnings forecasts?

Great Britain’s Best Yielding Large Cap ADRs With Cheap Price Ratios

Large capitalized stocks from the United Kingdom with low forward P/E’s and good dividends originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com".

I’ve started a new series of screens on my blog. The best yielding large cap stocks from foreign countries with cheap price ratios. The results from Asia and Latin America were inspirational for me but when I look deeper into the results, I realize that I could not build a deeper relationship to them. They are too far away from my research and their products and services are really unknown for me.

Today I like to come back to the core industrialized countries by screening stocks from the United Kingdom with an U.S. listing. A full list of the best yielding stocks from the FTSE can also be found in my weekly published E-Book “Dividend Weekly”.

My criteria are still the same: A market capitalization over USD 10 billion with a low forward P/E of less than 15. Finally, the dividend yield should be positive. In total, 16 of 38 U.K. stocks fulfilled these criteria. Thirteen companies have a current buy or better rating.
