30 Top Stocks With Dividend Growth From Last Week

Stocks with dividend hikes from last week originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. 30 companies announced a dividend hike within the recent week. Only six of them are large capitalized stocks and five are really cheap in terms of a low forward P/E.

It’s in line with our recognition of rising stock market multiples. Real cheap stocks are very rare. The most dangerous item are growth expectations. Growth let earnings multiples grow but you need low multiples with a solid growing business to make a good return.

The biggest results are Itau Unibanco, Goldman Sachs and Abbott Laboratories as well.

Best Dividend Paying Stock List As Of August 2013

Best Dividend Paying Stock Lists By Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. It’s always good to have stocks with cheap fundamentals and a proven long-term track record.

For sure, a cheap valuation is no guarantee for a great return and the past performance also doesn’t mean that the future will look like the history but you can get a good overview of the current falling angels at the market. Some of them still have a dominating market position like Chevron, China Mobile or AnheuserBush-Inbev.

Each month, I create a quick dividend list (from low-yield to high-yield paying stocks) of stocks with interesting performance and valuation figures. Stocks from that list are mid- and large caps (market capitalization of more than USD 1 billion) with double-digit long-term earnings growth rates. The companies are traded at AMEX, NYSE, NASDAQ and part of the Dow Jones, S&P 500 or Nasdaq Composite. The list is selected by the following criteria and sorted by dividend yield.

Market Capitalization: > 1 Billion
Price/Earnings Ratio: > 0 < 100
Dividend Yield: > 3 < 20
Return on Investment: > 10 < 100
Operating Margin: > 10 < 100
10 Year Revenue Growth: > 8 < 200
10 Year EPS Growth: > 10 < 100

Southern Copper is still the highest yielding company, followed by BP Prudhoe Bay Royalty Trust and Yanzhou Coal Mining.

All three stocks are commodity players. They have benefitted from the big commodity price boom of the recent years and suffer now under price declines.

Best Dividend Paying Stock List As Of July 2013

Best Dividend Paying Stock Lists By Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment

The recent sell-off on the market made stocks a little bit cheaper but they are not real bargains. Some stocks are still very high valueated and only a few single stocks have become more attractive.

It’s important to own good long-term growth stocks at reasonable prices in order to receive a good investment return. If the company grows further and accelerates its growth, your stake will definitely become larger over the time.

Each month, I create a quick dividend list (from low-yield to high-yield paying stocks) of shares with interesting performance and valuation figures.

Exactly thirty companies fulfilled the above mentioned criteria. The top pick is still the commodity stock southern copper with a 12.42 percent yield. Nearly half of the results come from the basic material sector. Technology stocks are the second best investment category. Eighteen of the results have a current buy or better rating.

20 Of The Safest Dividend Challengers On The Market

Dividend Challengers with lowest beta ratios originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". I love high-quality dividend growth stocks and the stocks with the longest history of consecutive payments are definitely Dividend Kings and Dividend Champions. But the big disadvantage of them is that they are also highly priced.

You cannot make a greater return with stocks that have a P/E ratio of 22 and grows only at 5 percent. You need real bargains to make big profit with your asset.

This problem can be solved when you look into the dividend potentials. Those stocks haven’t yet reached a longer dividend payment history but they can become a great Dividend Champion within the next years. The price ratios are also lower for some companies and you have a better choice to find good investments because out there are around 160 stocks with five or more years of consecutive dividend payments and 207 with a payment between 10 to 25 years.

Today I like to screen the third class of dividend growth stocks by the safest alternatives. The 20 safest dividend growth stocks have a beta ratio between 0.18 and 0.55. All three top picks come from the oil & gas pipeline industry, a branch with very stable sales and future growth perspectives due to the shale gas boom in the United States.

From the 20 safest Dividend Challengers have nine a current buy or better rating.

Best Dividend Paying Stock List As Of May 2013 – 26 Most Impressive Dividend Growth Stocks

Best Dividend Paying Stock Lists By Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. On the first day of each month, I create a quick dividend list (from low-yield to high-yield paying stocks) of stocks with interesting performance and valuation figures.

The reason behind is to find some attractive valuated companies with a strong market position and pricing power. Some of the results are distorted because they had an extraordinary good economic situation in the past. I’m talking about basic material stocks. Within the recent years, underlying prices for commodities increased very strongly because of China’s hunger for raw material. As a result, earnings as well as margins of mining companies exploded. The second most represented sector from the screen is the technology sector. 26 companies fulfilled the above mentioned criteria; 17 of them are currently recommended to buy.
