5 Higher Yielding Growth Picks With Acceptable Price Ratios

I've recently published an article about stocks that combined dividends and growth. The article introduced five picks with attractive fundamentals but the yield ratios were really low.

Today I would like to fix this lack by showing you some higher yielding stocks with great earnings growth forecasts.

In addition, the valuation could not be cheap because of the higher growth rates but they should be acceptable. These are my criteria in detail:

- Dividend Yield - Over 4%
- Payout Ratio - Under 100%
- Sales growth Past 5 years - Over 10%
- EPS growth Past 5 years - Over 10%
- EPS growth next 5 years - Over 10%
- Trailing P/E - Under 25
- Forward P/E - Under 20

13 High-Yield Large Capitalized Stocks With Buy Recommendation

Stocks with high dividend yields and buy ratings originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Today I would like to give you an update of the higher capitalized stocks with buy ratings by brokerage firms. I personally prefer stocks with lower yields and better growth perspectives because I don’t need high yields to live-off.

Only 13 stocks fulfilled these two criteria but the most of the results have an extraordinary high debt. It’s very risky to buy stocks with large amounts of debt because debt owners got money before share owners. If there should develop some trouble, the dividends must keep flat or needed to reduce.

Stocks from the basic material sector as well as telecoms are the dominating categories. But there are also some good names on the list like Williams Partners or Altria.

15 High Yielding Stocks Close To New 52-Week Highs

High Yield Large Caps quite below new 52-Week Highs originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. I’m not a momentum trader who seeks the hottest investment opportunities over the short run. I am looking for high quality dividend paying stocks that hike cash payments to shareholders each year and plan to continue this for decades. For sure, there are not many corporate that can manage this need. Only 15 stocks or so have achieved to rise dividends year over year for more than 50 years.

I also look at stocks at new highs. I believe that it’s a good sign when the stock is near all time highs or close to new 52-Week Highs. Something must run well right and investors gift trust to the corporate. You should definitely care about a solid valuation and avoid it to buy stocks with higher P/E’s.

Today I would like to present you some higher capitalized High Yields that are a few percentage points below new 52-Week Highs. It should be possible that these stocks can hit new highs in the near future.

Only fifteen stocks with more than USD 2 billion market capitalization are traded close to new highs and twelve of them got a current buy or better rating by investment firms. Two companies have a double-digit dividend yield.

The best yielding and biggest ex-dividend stocks researched by ”long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. Dividend Investors should have a quiet overview of stocks with upcoming ex dividend dates.

In total, 25 stocks go ex dividend - of which 11 yield more than 3 percent. The average yield amounts to 3.42%. Here is a full list of all stocks with ex-dividend date within the current week.

Latest Dividend Growth: 19 Stocks With A Higher Dividend Payment

Stocks with dividend hikes from last week originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Dividend growth slows a little bit. Last week, only 19 companies announced a higher dividend. I’ve published all stocks with dividend growth from the recent week in the attached dividend list for you.

You can also find a compilation of price and yield ratios in this post. In average, stocks from the list of the latest dividend growth stocks have increased their dividend payments by 30.57 percent. Big companies are on the list: Royal Bank of Canada, Altria, Toronto-Dominion Bank and Seadrill are well known stocks with recent dividend hikes from last week.

I have no special preference when I buy stocks. I like it to get diversified but my focus is also on cheaply priced stocks. Only 11 stocks of the recent dividend growers still have a forward P/E of less than 11.

Four of the results have a high yield of more than five percent and one stock yields over 10%. Analysts and brokerage firms recommend 10 of stocks with recent dividend boosts.

13 Cheap High Beta Basic Material Dividend Stocks

Cheap high beta dividend stocks from the basic material sector originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. The basic material sector is under fire. Nobody wants to go long on raw material producer or related industries. The fear of a slowing growth in China with the result of cheaper commodity prices is still aware.

The whole sector is down 3.1 percent over the recent six months while the best sector gained 17.9 percent during the same period. So many stocks can be bought for a single P/E within the sector but the risk is still high.

Today I would like to proceed my monthly screening serial about high beta dividend stocks. The basic material sector has a huge base of stock ideas on this field. In order to get the best results, I need to increase my limitations like this:

- Market capitalization over USD 10 billion
- Forward P/E below 15
- 5Y future earnings per share growth over 15 percent yearly
- Beta ratio over 1

Thirteen companies fulfilled these criteria of which one is a High-Yield. All results have a current buy or better rating.

54 Large Cap Dividend Stocks At All-Time Highs And Which To Buy

High capitalized dividend stocks at All-Time-High prices originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Only a rising stocks is a good stock if you are invested. The markets are really bullish after FED chairman Bernanke has flooded the market with cheap money over the recent years. As a result, the many stock markets all over the world hit all-time highs. But not all stocks are winners.

I’ve screened the market by large capitalized stocks at All-Time-Highs. 76 companies have reached this goal and 54 of them pay good dividends. It looks like stocks at new highs are also highly priced. That’s not true. 30 of the top results still have a forward P/E below 15.

Below is a small list of the dividend stocks at new All-Time-Highs with forward P/E’s fewer than 15 as well as double-digit earnings growth predictions for the next five years. Eleven companies fulfilled these criteria.

The Latest Big Dividend Stock Buys From James Barrow

James Barrow’s latest dividend stock buys and his portfolio originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com

James Barrow is a relatively unknown fund managers but he has big influence on Wall-Street. His assets under management exceeded the 55 billion mark in his investment firm Barrow, Hanley, Mewhinney & Strauss. This money was spread on 159 stocks of which 7 were completely new. James follows a value-oriented investment strategy.

James is a real dividend large cap lover. Nearly all of his latest 20 big stock acquisitions pay dividends. In addition, James is a much diversified guy. None of his stakes is extremely overweighed. The biggest position is the tobacco company Philip Morris and has a portfolio share of 3.5 percent while the 10th biggest stock holding weights only at 1.8 percent.

Compared to other fund managers, his performance is also weak in the short term. Over the past three years, the excess return was only 3.3 percent in total. His five-year advance is a bit better with 14 percent excess gain but over 10 years, his performance is 27.8 percent weaker than the S&P 500. Over a very long period of 15 years, he beat the market by 49.4 percent excess gain.

14 Stocks With A Growing Dividend From Last Week

Stocks with dividend hikes from last week originally published at “long-term-investments.blogspot.com”.

Last week was a weak one because only 14 companies announced to raise their dividends. Three of them have a high yield and ten a buy or better recommendation. In total they grew dividends by an average ratio of 16.57 percent.

Growing dividends are important because they show which companies are confident to manage future growth without additional capital. For you as investor, you get a higher passive income.

The biggest names on the best dividend growers list are National Grid, Seadrill and American Eagle Outfitters.
