14 Technology Dividend Stocks With Huge Potential To Pay Much Higher Dividends

Technology dividend stocks with low payout ratios and debt figures originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Today I would like to go forward with my article serial about low leveraged stocks from several sectors with currently small dividend payouts. I will discover some of the greatest low leveraged technology stocks on the market with also low dividend payout ratios.

My criteria are still a low dividend payout ratio of less than 20 percent as well as a debt-to-equity ratio under 0.5. In order to get only higher capitalized stocks, I decided to choose only those companies with a market cap of more than USD 2 billion.

Fourteen shares fulfilled these criteria of which eleven got a buy or better rating.

Cheapest Dividend Paying Large Caps As of September 2013

Cheap large capitalized stocks with high growth originally published at “long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Cheap stocks, bargains or undervalued companies can promise you good returns if you believe that they receive a better valuation within the next months or years. It’s very difficult to discover those stocks because of the hundreds of thousands technical and fundamental measures.

I often used my static ratios like earnings multiples or book ratios to identify cheaply valuated stocks. Today I like to change my recent criteria about cheapest dividend paying large caps a little bit. I tighten the restriction Price-To-Sales to a value of less than one and look at forward P/E’s. In the past, I’ve looked at current earnings multiples.

These are the criteria for my cheapest dividend paying large cap screen:
- Market Capitalization over USD 10 billion
- Expected Earnings per share growth over 10 percent for the next five years
- Forward P/E ratio under 15
- P/S under 1 and P/B ratio under 2
- Positive Dividends

The number of my results rose. Eighteen stocks fulfilled these criteria of which one pays a high yield of more than five percent. Nearly all, fourteen in total, got a buy or better rating by brokerage firms.

19 High Beta Technology Dividend Stocks At Reasonable Prices Compared To Growth

Cheap technology dividend stocks with highest beta ratios and good growth originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. High beta stocks are risky but they offer also big opportunities for risk seeking investors. The technology sector is one of the investment fields with a huge base of risk-adjusted business models.  Not every investment is a “win or fail” strategy.

Today I would like to continue my monthly screen serial about high beta stocks from several sectors. Technology dividend stocks are in my focus now. Because of the huge amount of high beta dividend paying technology stocks, I implemented three additional criteria in my screen: A very high market capitalization, an expected five year earnings per share growth as well as a low forward price-to-earnings ratio.

Growth should be over 10 percent for the next half decade and the P/E should below 15. In my view, this ratio represents a very good price for the future growth opportunity but the business model could be much riskier because of the high beta ratio. The betas of the 19 results are between 1.3 and 4. Some stocks like Telecom Italia, Orange or Broadcom have a really bad mid-term performance. Others like TE Connectivity from Swiss or Eaton increased during the same period by over 55 percent or more.

China Mobile: The Next Pick For The Dividend Yield Passive Income Portfolio

I started my screen last Friday to scout for the next attractive pick of my Dividend Yield Passive Income Portfolio (DYPI). I’ve screened 443 dividend growth stocks with a payment increase of at least five consecutive years by the cheapest forward P/E’s. One higher yielding company from China jumped direct into my eyes. It was China Mobile.

China Mobile Limited is an investment holding company. The Company and its subsidiaries provide mobile telecommunications and related services in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and directly-administered municipalities in Mainland China and Hong Kong. As of December 31, 2012, its total customer reached 710 million. The Company's products and services include voice services, which refers to the business where customers make and receive calls with a mobile phone at any point within the coverage of the Company's mobile telecommunications networks; data services, which comprise short message service and multimedia messaging service (SMS & MMS), wireless data traffic, and applications and information services.

I bought 25 shares for $55.32 or $1,383 in total. CHL yields at 3.72% and has only a current P/E of 10.70. The forward price to earnings ratio amounts to 10.89 because of lower expected earnings. That’s the big burden of the stock. Earnings are expected to fall by 3.42 percent for the next year and 5.60 percent for the upcoming five years.

Portfolio Overview Dividend Yield Passive Income (Click to enlarge)

Latest Portfolio Transactions (Click to enlarge)

I like CHL because it’s a big infrastructure company in China. 100 percent of sales come from Asian countries. China Mobile has no significant long-term debt but $71 billion cash and generates around $230 billion operating cashflows per year. Over the recent 10 years, CHL tripled sales and fivefold net income.

China Mobile is a classic Dividend Contender. The company managed to raise dividends over a period of seven consecutive years.

The new stake will give me around $55 bucks per year. The total dividend income is now estimated at $1,681. With still $52,992 in cash on banks, I have enough potential to boost the passive income to a level over $3,000 by the end of this year. All I need to do is to find each week a stock with a yield over 3 percent.

As of now, the current portfolio yield is far above the magic ratio, at 3.53 percent. Because of the small capital gain, the current portfolio yield is at 3.16 percent.

Stocks from the portfolio are up 11.5 percent in average. Because of the high cash amount (50 percent of the money is still not invested), the current portfolio performance since the date of funding is at 5.89 percent.
